RCB0031/202012/03/2020Toilets customers request " Hi Folks,I am just writing this email to make you aware of an issue with the public toilets in the area off centre way lane in Launceston. While in most cases I have found the public conveniences in and around Launceston to be well maintained , clean and sanitary, I was disturbed to find some of these toilets to be quite the opposite on Wednesday 11th March 2020. The cubicle that my wife entered had urine on the floor, and smelt disgusting. She did not realise that the floor was in this condition until she had sat down, and placed her hand bag on the floor as there were apparently no hooks or a bench for that purpose. When she retrieved her hand bag it smelt very bad, to the point where she found it necessary to dispose of it when we returned home. The cubicle that I used was somewhat cleaner, but had no hand wash in the dispenser, not surprisingly given the current warnings of the Coronavirus.I understand that the condition of these toilets is conditional on the consideToiletsTrustees Court (Toilets) 7 Criterion Place LAUNCESTON TAS 7250 Work Order Created
